RESOURCES FROM 2023 PRESIDENT’s COUNCIL weekend

Ready to get on the Road after President’s Council? As a Champion in Novo, you play a critical role in our mission to see disciples making disciples, who make more disciples — the basis for a movement of the gospel. You heard about how these gospel movements are taking off in many of the places where our staff serve, but this can happen in your family or neighborhood too! We are honestly better now that you’re part of the Team! So, thank you for jumping in!

At Smoke Tree Ranch, all of the following opportunities were mentioned a bunch of times, and we hope they are truly helpful as you abide with Jesus.

Movement Pathway

The Movement Pathway is a 7-module experiential training designed to encourage and empower you and your team of everyday believers to connect with unreached pockets of people, share the gospel, and make new disciples in your context.

There are two ways to participate:

  1. Go through the training alongside others who were at President’s Council
    We will be coaching a group through the material every week on Friday mornings at 7 a.m. Pacific from March 31st to May 19th. (Learn more about the benefits of going through this group training and gather a team by watching the call recording above.)   2. Do it at your own pace
    If you can't join the Friday calls, you can still gather a team (at least one other person) and go through the training at your own pace with your team. Learn more and register at https://novo.org/movement-pathway

Discovery bible study

Do you remember your “I Will” statement after our Discovery Bible Study together? Maybe you caught it, but we love Discovery Bible Study! That’s because when it’s in the hands of ordinary people, it brings transformation to spiritually-hungry people, families, groups, and communities. DBS is the key tool Novo teams use to help make disciples who make disciples around the world.

Spiritual Authority Cohort

We heard a lot about the Cohorts at President’s Council this year! It seemed like half the room was people who’s faith had been enriched by participating in a Cohort. If you haven’t gone through it or would like to experience it again, we’d love to have you join us. This 6-module experiential prayer training empowers disciples to fully discover and step into their identity as sons and daughters of the King.
