In places of the world with great spiritual darkness, opposition to the good news is common. This was the reality for Christian and Rie, who moved to Japan eight years ago to spread the gospel. They saw very little fruit and felt deeply discouraged. But God gave them a light in that darkness, and it was so simple—prayer and blessing.
Can gospel movements take off in a secular, post-Christian climate? We don’t hear a lot of stories of the good news rapidly multiplying in the West. But could it?? Novo staff member Jeremy would answer that with a resounding “Yes!” Because he’s seen it happen—more than once.

As we reflect on 40 years of ministry, we see the journey God has graciously led us on as an organization, equipping us for gospel movements. One piece of that journey was understanding activating prayer and what it means to be naturally supernatural followers of Jesus.
