“Really, God? Is this really the cup you have for me, for my family? No. This can't be the cup. I don't know if I can drink from it, how to drink it!” my heart cried out.

Jesus never stopped loving, despite the wounds, despite the misunderstanding and lashing out of those he came to save.

My Daddy knows what I need more than anything else—to see Jesus. And he knows how to speak past my fear, past my stubbornness, and how to carry me deeper into his heart of love.

Am I willing to let God do it his way, to have him use the foolish...the broken things? Or will I stifle the work of the Holy Spirit with my arrogance and unbelief?

How much has fear stopped me from going the distance in living out my calling, or blocked me from experiencing God’s gifts and anointing in the ways I long for?

Though I should know better, I easily slip into trusting God to take care of spiritual matters, but relying on myself to take care of the rest.

Risk and joy go hand in hand, and the key to breaking through and grabbing both is to be a child again.
