Schedule

For the Stakeholder Gathering, we will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and conclude with lunch on Friday. The Smoke Tree weekend will begin with a mixer at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, and we kindly request that you do not leave before the entirety of the program on Sunday. You are welcome to check in as early as 4:00 p.m. on Thursday and stay at the Ranch for lunch on your own on Sunday. Late checkout may be available, but space is limited—please contact Smoke Tree Ranch at least a week in advance to schedule a late checkout.

For those flying in

The closest airport is Palm Springs International (PSP), which is less than 10 minutes from the Ranch. It is a smaller airport, so flights may be more expensive than other regional airports (see below). If you fly into PSP, taxis and rental cars are available at the airport, and Uber and Lyft are able to pick up at airport terminals but can be unpredictable.

Other regional airports (you’ll need to rent a car as no shuttle is provided from these airports):

• Ontario International (ONT) - 72 miles (1.5 - 2 hour drive)*

• John Wayne (Orange County) - 101 miles (2.5 - 3 hour drive)* 

• Los Angeles International - 125 miles (2.5 - 4 hour drive)*

*Please note: Southern California traffic is very congested. Also, rental car locations are offsite, so you will need to take a free shuttle to your rental provider. If you will not be arriving until Friday, please add an additional 1-2 hours to account for your rental car pick-up and traffic.

Attire

Suggested attire for the weekend is casual during the day to smart casual in the evening. The Ranch recommends that male guests wear dinner jackets and slacks to evening meals. Jackets are encouraged, but not required. Please refrain from wearing hats, tank tops, short shorts, flip flops, and swimwear inside the Dining Room.
