Hello - I am Luc Kabongo. My wife Petunia and our three children are part of InnerCHANGE, a Novo collective of people who live and serve in communities of poverty. We are part of a team serving in the township of Soshanguve in South Africa.
I want to say thank you for supporting Novo work around the world. Your generosity and prayers make it possible for us to faithfully respond to God’s calling in our lives.
For our team, this year has been a continuation of our journey to be tangible good news of Jesus in our context. Our vision is to partner with young leaders in our community to see a gospel movement in our context and beyond. We focus on developing and raising people from our neighborhood as missionaries to be visible signs of love in their context. On a yearly basis we run an apprenticeship of local leaders. This year we journeyed with 22 emergent leaders, training them to be good news agents through the many projects we run (such as tutoring, sports, mentoring clubs, and healthcare.)
Thank you for your partnership. May God pour out His blessings on you and renew you wholly in this Christmas season and New Year.
Blessings to you,
Luc
Novo works to launch and multiply gospel movements and to mobilize the church to do the same. In this process, we equip and release “Good News Agents” who work for transformation in their communities, cities, and nations to reflect the presence of Jesus.
The impact of this work around the world is possible because of the support systems and structures that grant them the ability to focus on their ministry. And all of these things are possible because of the faithful financial support of our ministry partners.
This “mission support” comes in a variety of forms—ministry tools and training, spiritual and emotional care, new staff and teams, communications, partner development, and all the other essential support systems that make ministry possible, no matter where in the world our 560 staff are sent.
Your year-end gifts are an important part of how we keep our staff healthy and effective in their ministry. Would you prayerfully consider becoming a partner in this work?
