Middle east Relief fund
NEO Leaders has worked in the Middle East for 18 years and has a strong national team in the countries surrounding Israel with 700,000 people in bible study groups creating communities of followers of Christ. And, as you can imagine, when you have a ministry that works in almost every country in the Middle East, our teams are used to working in times of war and uncertainty. We currently have teams ministering to and providing relief to Sudanese refugees both in Sudan and Egypt, Yemenis who are displaced in their own country due to civil war, Syrian refugees displaced from the war as well as from the earthquake, Yazidis who have escaped ISIS, and Palestinians who have made their way to Egypt.
With the conflict spilling in Lebanon, this has had a significant impact on NEO Leaders 42 staff and hundreds of volunteers scattered across the country. This past week they’ve seen the deadliest string of violence since the start of the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel last October.
With crisis and war comes internal disruption. Our national teams have seen that these times bring more questions, experiences, and yearnings to know more about Jesus and find security in his love. Our experience is that when crisis and persecution exist, ministry grows. This is a key moment in time to invest in the region and bring resources to minister to the people across the Middle East that are looking for God during this uncertain time.
Would you support the relief and ongoing discipleship of those in the region?
An additional $75,000 per month for the next 6 months will empower the thousands of disciple-makers throughout the region with resources they need to respond with housing, food, medicine and trauma care to those affected by the current conflict, as well as in the future.
Your partnership will allow our team in the Middle East to be a beacon of hope and agent of peace. It will also ensure our other relief efforts are sustained so that people have provisions in times of crisis and learn of the transforming love of Jesus.
