The Bridge
The Bridge is Novo Mission’s new four-module cohort designed to take the tools and practices from the Activating Prayer Cohort and carry them into everyday mission. Built directly on Jesus’s words in Matthew 28:19, this curriculum explores what Jesus actually meant when he commanded his followers to “go and make disciples”.
Rather than focusing on converts, events, or persuasive tactics, The Bridge returns to the biblical foundations of discipling—reproducing in others what Jesus has produced in you. Through Scripture, community interaction, and guided practice, participants learn how disciple-making was rooted in the Old Testament, modeled by Jesus, and lived out in relational, conversational, and life-on-life ways in community.
Join us!
The Bridge will follow a bi-weekly rhythm on Thursdays starting January 15th with two options for time: 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Pacific.
Dates: Jan. 19 & 29; and Feb. 12 & 29
If you need to switch your time or have any questions, please reach out to prayer.cohort@novo.org
What You’ll Explore in the modules:
What does it mean to be a disciple to create a framework for disciple-making today?
How Jesus discipled through relationship, conversation, curiosity, and daily life and how to love people in overlapping spaces .
How relational living and love develops relationships where disciple-making happens naturally in intentional communities.
How our new friends discover Jesus through going through life with us.
Why The Bridge?
This cohort serves as a bridge from a participating believer into a reproducing believer, helping everyday followers of Jesus cross over into real relationships where disciple-making naturally happens. It’s a runway for ordinary people, in every wiring and season of life, to join Jesus in his mission.
What to Expect
The Bridge is an experiential learning environment with teaching, conversation, simple experiments, and weekly practices. Instead of adding more tasks to your spiritual life, this cohort emphasizes disciple-making from who you are becoming in Jesus—not from what you can perform or produce.
You’ll learn to make disciples naturally and relationally, out of your identity, your everyday rhythms, and the work Jesus has already done and is doing in you.
We’d love for you to join us as we step with Jesus into his mission—one relationship at a time.
