AFGHAN REFUGEE RESPONSE

Thank you for your interest in supporting Novo’s response to the crisis in Afghanistan.  Our teams continue to work in the region and around the world where Afghans are settling.

  • Our prayer network is strong, growing, and committed to advocating to the Lord on behalf of Afghans.

  • We expect our first teams of workers from Latin America to arrive in Central Asia in 2022 to catalyze a movement of the gospel amongst them.  

  • Novo is blessed with teams all over the world who are engaging Afghans and helping them resettle.

  • Since last August, our teams have helped 700 vulnerable Afghans cross borders and into safe houses in surrounding countries.  The work of caring for them and showing them God’s love continues once they are in their new countries.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

As the needs and opportunities continue to unfold, you can make it possible to reach many Afghan refugees with urgently needed resources and the hope of Jesus. Our teams are providing housing, food, trauma counseling and ministering to their spiritual needs in many places.  Your prayer support provides the spiritual covering we need to be effective in this opportunity, and your gift will enable our teams to minister and care for the people they meet.
